Extended Alpine Stitch

The Extended Alpine stitch produces a textured fabric as the original Alpine stitch. However, the stitch has more flexibility to stretch and it is ideal for garments such as cardigans, coatigans and jumpers.+

Due to the nature of the stitch it is highly reccomended for the crocheted piece to be blocked.  I usually steem the garments I make.
