The purchase process – bespoke items
Please note that due to high demand for our custom-made items, there is now a waiting list of between one to six months to complete and despatch all custom-made items. The time it takes to create an item depends on the season you have chosen to make your purchase, your selected colour palette and the availability of your chosen yarn fabric.
If you would like to order an item, please contact cosmicgdesigns@gmail.com to book an appointment. During the appointment, we will agree on your specific requirements, such as measurements, preferred colours and yarn choice. We will provide a timeline for dispatch and delivery of your purchase. At this stage, CosmicGDesigns will provide you with a document that summarises the details of your purchase which needs to be signed. Once we have received the signed document, the purchase can be made via the VIP portal for which you will be given a unique password to access.
Customers’ ideas for crochet items
Should you have an idea for an item which Cosmicgdesigns do not offer, please contact Cosmicgdesigns to make an appointment. Cosmicgdesigns reserves the right to refuse re-making items from different designers and is open to creating a bespoke design for its customers which are unique and are in line with the standards and values of the company.
Returns and refund policy
Since all items at CosmicGDesigns are custom-made, we reserve the right not to offer a return and refund once the item has been received by the customer due to the bespoke nature of the item.
On receipt, should the packaging and item be damaged and the item rendered unusable, CosmicGDesigns can offer a replacement of the item or refund the value of the item. The customer will need to provide photographic evidence of the packaging and of the damaged item. If in dispute the customer will need to post the item with its packaging back to cosmicgdesign for independent evaluation.
N.B. Any intentional damage of the items will result in no refund.
Cancellations
Once we have agreed on the specifics of a bespoke item and once you have signed the document, and your payment received, cancellations are accepted within 10 working days of the purchase as the item is ‘not needed any longer.’ Once 10 working days have elapsed, we cannot accept cancellations as the specific yarn for the item will have been ordered and a crocheter already assigned to the job.
Damaged items
If you have accidentally damaged the fabric of the item, please contact CosmicGDesigns to arrange repair. The repair will be evaluated from photographs provided by the customer. Subject to the state of the item, CosmicGDesigns may agree to repair the item, however we reserve the right of refusal. If repair is concluded, the cost of postage and packaging is the sole responsibility of the buyer and no refunds for postage will be offered.
The item must not be HANDWASHED, MACHINE WASHED, TUMBLE DRIED, BLEACHED, DYED, IRONED or BURNED. These processes may destroy the crocheted fabric and where this is evident, the item will not be accepted for repair - the item will be considered as intentionally damaged.
Please note that CosmicGDesigns reserves the right not to repair any items which have been lightly or severely damaged or even burned.
Care for the item
With each purchase, you will be provided with appropriate care instructions for the item.
