Winter wanderlust shawl and hat
Yarn used
Jubilee yarn merino carnival yarn
Charlatan and Mezzano
2 cakes each
Each cake is 415 yards (380 meters)
For the shawl and hat I used almost all / perhaps I have 30g left.
Hook 3.5mm
The shawl is made out of 4 sections.
Each section has a different pattern.
Section 1 – A and B rows which are repeated for 14 rows
Section 2 – C and D rows which are repeated for 12 rows
Section3 - E and F rows which are repeated for 12 rows
Section 4- G and H rows which are repeated for 12 rows.
Each se room is worked for 12 rows.
Sections 1-4 are repeated three times i.e. the rows from A to H are repeated tree times.
For each row we alternate both yarns.
The green connections on the diagram indicate where a stitch should be placed in the previous row.
As the shawl is worked side to side we only increase on one size of the shawl. The other side always remains with the same number of stitches and is straight.
