The pattern and instructions are both in UK and USA terminology. The UK terminology is in bold.

Use any colour Aran yarn – make sure the colours are contrasting

I have used Marriner Aran in

The scarf is made out of 8 motifs

Its measurements are as follows:

RESIZING

If you would like the scarf to be smaller please use  smaller weight yarn and smaller hook or make less motif i.e. instead of 8 make 6 for instance.

Pick up one of the 7 chains and the corresponding one from the back and find the ch space between the 2 dc in the v st. Attach the yarn.

Join the motifs – I used matress stitch but you can join them with your prefered joining method.

 

I have then made hdc in each stitch. – corner 2hdc, ch 2 , 2 hdc (UK – 2htc, ch 2, 2htc)

With off white i used moss stitch – corner sc, ch 2, sc  (UK -dc, ch 2, dc)

With contrast colour I used moss stitch.

Weave the ends.
